Information we do not collect
• SmileVision TV does not collect your TV viewing history unless you are using the SmileVision TV Product (see below), or SmileVision TV Internal TV Marketing. The SmileVision TV Platform is currently designed to collect or store data for the purposes of reporting accountability to advertisers. SmileVision TV does not collect data about which channels you tune to or what programs you watch through the regular television service connected to or through your Retail Product. SmileVision TV may collect and store non-personalized usage information related to the fact that a subscriber is watching TV generally, as opposed to browsing the web or using another application on the SmileVision TV Platform. We may also collect and store non-personalized information regarding your query term or page request through the SmileVision TV Search Box (see below), but we do not currently gather information regarding your specific program-level viewing activity within the TV application on the SmileVision TV Platform. However, please note that third-party television service providers typically do collect user data relating to channels tuned and content viewed through their services (“Tuning Data”) and may share that information with third parties under certain circumstances; please consult your TV service’s subscriber privacy policy for more information. We may also use data internally to improve the SmileVision TV Platform or other SmileVision TV Services. If you do not consent to your service provider sharing personalized Tuning Data with SmileVision TV, you will still be able to use your Retail Product but it will lack the enhanced integration that is provided by sharing your Tuning Data (for example, you will not be able to search across your DVR and VOD content). To the extent that we share Tuning Data with third parties in the future (such as SmileVision TV application developers), we will do so only if you give your opt-in consent and if the sharing is for the purpose of providing enhancements and improvements to the SmileVision TV Services or Retail Products.

SmileVision TV will collect individual television viewing history directly through the SmileVision TV Platform in order to provide useful dynamic services and additional features or functionality to its advertisers. SmileVision TV will (a) notify its subscribers of the collection of such information with your knowledge in a manner that gives you transparency, choice and control over the collection and sharing of your television viewing history through the SmileVision TV Platform; (b) update this Privacy Policy Notice to inform you of the change and describe what information we will be collecting and how it will be used; and (c) notify you of Privacy Policy Notice updates and that such data is being collected from the SmileVision TV Platform.

Information we do collect and how we use it
• In order to set up your TV Retail Product and use the SmileVision TV Platform, you must login with your SmileVision TV Account credentials (if you already have them) or create a new, SmileVision TV Account for additional location addresses or certain products. Information needed to create an account will include the subscriber’s professional or company name, address, telephone number and email address. Your SmileVision TV Account information is stored by SmileVision TV in connection with the registration and activation of the SmileVision TV APP on your Retail Product. The SmileVision TV Account is established to associate with your TV Retail Product or the SmileVision TV APP (application downloaded and installed), however, this will not automatically transfer or apply to your use of other SmileVision TV services on SmileVision TV. If the SmileVision TV Service requires you to login with a SmileVision TV Account, you will be required to login separately — using either the same or a different SmileVision TV Account, as you choose — to access the Service and/or its professional features. Your use of other SmileVision TV Services through the SmileVision TV Platform is governed by the terms of service and privacy notice applicable to the specific Service.

If you wish to maintainprivacy from others, staff members or other associates, consider having the control module in your possession at all times and securing it by storing it in a safe place at all times throughout your subscription.

• It is not possible to log out of the SmileVision TV Platform itself; you must remain authenticated with a SmileVision TV Account that is associated with the Retail Product in order to use it. However, you may clear data stored on the device control module through a setting on the control module. You may also perform a factory reset of your device to clear all data and associate the device with a different SmileVision TV Account. For information on clearing history stored on your TV Retail Product, and for related privacy and safety settings information, please refer to the manufactures hand guide that came with the TV Retail Product.

Each Retail Product is assigned one or more identification numbers. These identification numbers are not associated with your SmileVision TV Account and one or more of them may be used to authenticate and activate your Retail Product, authenticate delivery of some services and features on the SmileVision TV Platform, and to allow your device to sync information between the SmileVision TV Platform and other SmileVision TV Services.

However, as described in this Privacy Policy Notice, much of the data currently collected through the SmileVision TV Platform and stored in our server logs is non-personalized and therefore SmileVision TV may simply be unable to fulfill certain requests for user-specific information relating to third-party video content delivered through the SmileVision TV Platform (or video content that is rented or purchased through applications or services accessible through the SmileVision TV Platform).
